ROMPEBALLAS's Donald Barbotin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Mendebal in the 4th minute of play. If Sebastian Illan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Azcurra's zone, Lino Gorbea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hipolito Oliverios came out of the goal and Lino Gorbea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 10 minutes into the match, Honorio Froylan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Donald Barbotin. ROMPEBALLAS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Honorio Froylan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Benjamin Mendebal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, ROMPEBALLAS's Atilano Cloyo got a free kick in the 15th minute. Sebastian Illan kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 18thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Azcurra's keeper Hipolito Oliverios was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. When Benjamin Mendebal fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Azcurra's protests and gave Benjamin Mendebal a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Azcurra's Benjamin Mendebal got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After 26 played minutes ROMPEBALLAS got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Errolan. Lino Gorbea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Sebastian Illan came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the ROMPEBALLAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Illan couldn't finish the play. Sebastian Illan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Hipolito Oliverios made a huge save. 45 minutes into the game, Sebastian Illan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Hipolito Oliverios was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sebastian Illan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lino Gorbea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hipolito Oliverios having to make a save. If Sebastian Illan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Azcurra's Hipolito Oliverios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Illan in the 62nd minute of play. Hipolito Oliverios showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Illan, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leo Constancio during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Azcurra's Leo Constancio got a free kick in the 67th minute. 70 minutes into the game, ROMPEBALLAS's Saverio Tomi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hipolito Oliverios made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. A collision led to ROMPEBALLAS getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Atilano Cloyo hit a great ball. Sebastian Illan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Hipolito Oliverios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hipolito Oliverios stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Illan's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. When ROMPEBALLAS's Sebastian Illan in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Azcurra's goalie prevented a goal. If Saverio Tomi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ROMPEBALLAS fully deserved thier win.
