Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teobaldo Rivero in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aristides Illan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Lavalle's Prospero Lluc got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 8th minute of the match Alonzo Guillelme shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anastasio Isaio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Huascán's Aristides Illan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Huascán from getting a goal against them. Aristides Illan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobaldo Rivero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anastasio Isaio came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Huascán's Adan Mambru. But to his dismay, Adan Mambru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Anastasio Isaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorio Senon in the 19th minute of the match. When David Frederico fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Huascán's protests and gave David Frederico a yellow card for diving instead. Primitivo Ranolfo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Aristides Illan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 23 minutes into the match, Lavalle's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Kinsen came free, but Anastasio Isaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 26 minutes, Teobaldo Rivero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lavalle and the Huascán players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 26 played minutes Lavalle got a freekick which was hit by Teobaldo Rivero. Omar Kinsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Isaio having to interfere. Gregorio Senon kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Teobaldo Rivero was extremely unlucky when he, in the 39th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 40th minute, Gustavo Feliz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute, Lavalle's Victoriano Gimenez seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Victoriano Gimenez the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Lavalle protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Victoriano Gimenez had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lavalle fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Omar Kinsen was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Lavalle's Emilio Quilino got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 53rd minute of the match Alonzo Guillelme sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anastasio Isaio skillfully saved the ball. Teobaldo Rivero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 59th minute Gustavo Feliz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Illan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aristides Illan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobaldo Rivero in the 62nd minute of play. Adan Mambru hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Gregorio Senon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Teobaldo Rivero came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Lavalle fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teobaldo Rivero couldn't finish the play. After having played for 83 minutes, Teobaldo Rivero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lavalle's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teobaldo Rivero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teobaldo Rivero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When David Frederico was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 87 minutes had been played. The supporters of Lavalle booed when Huascán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Frederico didn't get a good kick on the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Teobaldo Rivero notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Huascán's Aristides Illan. Aristides Illan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Teobaldo Rivero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lavalle were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
