In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Darregueira's goalkeeper Eusebio Llorian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arnold Schwarzenegger's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Eusebio Llorian on his right side and into the goal. 8 minutes into the game it was 1-0. The supporters of Deportivo Martes booed when Darregueira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionisio Tirso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th match minute, Darregueira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquilino Telo to maneuver through the defense. Eusebio Llorian was a little too slow when Emil Boc got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Darregueira's goalkeeper Eusebio Llorian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Darregueira getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Javier Irrintzi hit a great ball. When Emil Boc came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Deportivo Martes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emil Boc couldn't finish the play. Pedro Elazar kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Deportivo Martes's Emil Boc dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Eulalio Bihar made the kick off in the second half. Eusebio Llorian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnold Schwarzenegger in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute Sixto Ted shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusebio Llorian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 60 played minutes Darregueira got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Gonza. Eusebio Llorian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Boc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Boc in the 67th minute of play forced Darregueira's goalkeeper Eusebio Llorian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 70 minutes, Sixto Ted managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Martes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sixto Ted was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sixto Ted received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Eusebio Llorian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Darregueira's goalkeeper Eusebio Llorian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Camilo Frascuelo struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Eusebio Llorian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Martes. After 84 played minutes Deportivo Martes got a freekick which was hit by Arnold Schwarzenegger. In the 86th minute, Emil Boc made a precise shot to the right of Eusebio Llorian. Darregueira's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. After some careless play in the Darregueira defense, Arnold Schwarzenegger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eusebio Llorian. The Darregueira fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eusebio Llorian should have stopped the shot. Emil Boc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Eusebio Llorian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Darregueira's Eusebio Llorian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Sein in the 96th minute of play. Deportivo Martes's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
