After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Silvestre Felo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colman AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvestre Felo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elvio Toribio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elvio Toribio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelino Gonzales, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. A collision led to Colman AFC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Cristobal Dantae hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Herrera FC's Sergio Abel tried to score from far away in the 25th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Angelino Gonzales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 37th minute, Tiburcio George hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andres Garaona blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Godfredo Otsando having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelino Gonzales in the 46th minute of play forced Herrera FC's goalkeeper Elvio Toribio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sergio Izel to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Herrera FC's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Felo came free, but Elvio Toribio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Andres Garaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Colman AFC booed when Herrera FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergio Abel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelino Gonzales ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Herrera FC's zone, Angelino Gonzales stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elvio Toribio came out of the goal and Angelino Gonzales tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76th minute Sergio Izel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godfredo Otsando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Izel in the 78th minute of play forced Colman AFC's goalkeeper Godfredo Otsando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristobal Dantae hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, Colman AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Andres Garaona came free, but Godfredo Otsando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Godfredo Otsando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andres Garaona in the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th match minute, Herrera FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Abel to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute, Mario Domiku hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
