After some careless play in the ATLETICO PARANA defense, Dante Gombal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cleto Mattin. The ATLETICO PARANA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cleto Mattin should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Horacio Guillelmus kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Amador Francis. That made the score 2-1 in the 29 minute of play. Dante Gombal scored 2-2 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cleto Mattin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Horacio Guillelmuss short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Amador Francis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Amador Francis didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 44th minute, which inside left pole to 4-2. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-2 at half-time.

Amador Francis came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by ATLETICO PARANA's Horacio Guillelmus. But to his dismay, Horacio Guillelmus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. 61 minutes into the game, ATLETICO PARANA's Erasmo Rubio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amador Francis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-2. After a defensive mix-up in Leones de Bleek's zone, Horacio Guillelmus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amador Francis came out of the goal and Horacio Guillelmus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
