After 24 minutes of play, Deportivo Meta y Ponga's Daniel Eklund made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Virgilio Escobar was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Dudignac's Saturnino Guillelmo got a free kick in the 30th minute. Virgilio Escobar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornelio Garin, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Virgilio Escobar came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Meta y Ponga's Cornelio Garin. But to his dismay, Cornelio Garin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. After a defensive mix-up in Dudignac's zone, Cornelio Garin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Virgilio Escobar came out of the goal and Cornelio Garin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Saturnino Guillelmo kicked well hit freekick during the 49th minute of the match. In the 51st match minute, Dudignac was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saturnino Guillelmo to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Remigio Michael was the one to do the kick off. Virgilio Escobar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornelio Garin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Virgilio Escobar successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 78 played minutes Deportivo Meta y Ponga got a freekick which was hit by Denis Gumaro. Virgilio Escobar was a little too slow when Cornelio Garin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 0-9. After 92 played minutes Deportivo Meta y Ponga got a freekick which was hit by Silvio Romero. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Eklund could shoot a difficult shot in the 94th minute, which Virgilio Escobar however easily saved by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Dudignac's zone, Daniel Eklund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Virgilio Escobar came out of the goal and Daniel Eklund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Dudignac's Virgilio Escobar got control of the ball when Daniel Eklund tried to sneak it across the goal line.
