After a rather tough play, Camachui's Alfonso Rencio got a free kick in the 39th minute. If Maximiliano Mogel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. Joachim Ilmark showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Botello, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mikko Sanevuori to strike the kick off in the second half. If Maximiliano Mogel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 94 minutes into the match, Camachui's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Mogel came free, but Joachim Ilmark reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camachui made a substitution. Romulo Xabat replaced Cleto Piearres. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Universitario Cba had won after a very even match.
