The Saraza FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Joey should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Candido Roldanillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saraza FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Candido Roldanillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolas Bonifaco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Candido Roldanillo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nicolas Bonifaco. That made the score 1-1 in the 23 minute of play. After 27 minutes, Zeledon Rojelio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chuleta de Pablut and the Saraza FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 27th match minute, Chuleta de Pablut was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeledon Rojelio to maneuver through the defense. Alfonso Mouricio didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-1 via right post in the game's 29th minute. Saraza FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Nicolas Bonifaco made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Alfonso Mouricio sent off a good shot on target. Saraza FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomás Laurendi in the 46th minute. The corner led to Saraza FC's Joel Ostadar getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jose Perico stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Chuleta de Pablut's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Mouricio came free, but Nicolas Bonifaco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Chuleta de Pablut fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicolas Bonifaco should have stopped the shot. In the 57th minute, Jacobo Maureo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the match, Chuleta de Pablut's goal looked a bit too open when Candido Roldanillo came free, but Nicolas Bonifaco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute Alfonso Mouricio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Bonifaco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Candido Roldanillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87thth minute of the game Alfonso Mouricio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chuleta de Pablut's Nicolas Bonifaco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Freddy Mannuel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfonso Mouricio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicolas Bonifaco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. In the 95th minute, Alfonso Mouricio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Saraza FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Saraza FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
