But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvaldo Lehen couldn't finish the play. 26 minutes into the match, Wilfredo Cordarrol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Joey. Saraza FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilfredo Cordarrol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Saraza FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilfredo Cordarrol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Serafino Iraitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Candido Roldanillo in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zacarias Jaunti in the 56th minute of play forced Saraza FC's goalkeeper Julio Joey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serafino Iraitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Mouricio in the 59th minute of play. Wilfredo Cordarrol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Julio Joey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Zacarias Jaunti fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The long shot by Leandro Sendoa in the 63rd minute really tested Julio Joey's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 65 minutes into the match, Candido Roldanillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Serafino Iraitz. Ĺa Oselleta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Candido Roldanillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. In the 69th minute, Ĺa Oselleta's Wilfredo Cordarrol ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julio Joey. Julio Joey yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candido Roldanillo in the 81st minute of play forced Ĺa Oselleta's goalkeeper Serafino Iraitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saraza FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Wilfredo Cordarrol scored to the left of an out of position Julio Joey, making the score, 1-6. If Osvaldo Lehen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Wilfredo Cordarrol took a quick shot and it went in 1-7 without a chance for Julio Joey to make any attempt to save it.
