Filiberto Pagomari scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gerardo Dominguez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Saturnino Rivas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Médanos's Gerardo Dominguez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernabe Isadore in the 20th minute of play. Bernardo Iratze kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Raul Froila didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fidel Ciano went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Barburín's zone, Fidel Ciano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raul Froila came out of the goal and Fidel Ciano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 30thth minute of the game Filiberto Pagomari who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Médanos's Gerardo Dominguez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Filiberto Pagomari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Bernabe Isadore came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Barburín fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernabe Isadore couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Bernabe Isadore managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barburín's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernabe Isadore was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerardo Dominguez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

With a little luck, Médanos's Gerardo Dominguez got control of the ball when Bernabe Isadore tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amancio Ofelio hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Barburín were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Médanos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ivan Txaran took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Atilano Urtsin heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Bernabe Isadore could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Gerardo Dominguez made a huge save. Raul Froila didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Saturnino Rivas went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 71st minute, Médanos's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bernabe Isadore fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saturnino Rivas in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raul Froila saved Barburín from getting behind. Saturnino Rivas might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raul Froila. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Saturnino Rivas ran back to his position shaking his head. Barburín's Raul Froila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnino Rivas in the 83rd minute of play. The supporters of Barburín booed when Médanos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amancio Ofelio didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Filiberto Pagomari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fidel Ciano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Raul Froila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saturnino Rivas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saturnino Rivas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Froila having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Barburín players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Médanos.
