The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With his leg Paolo Abeijon managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when Pincha FC's Freddy Sandaili fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A nice corner shot did that Fulgencio Odol got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Paolo Abeijon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Denis Bizen scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabio Duardo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fabio Duardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Bizen in the 15th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Torgny Rolandsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the match, Pincha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Torgny Rolandsson came free, but Fabio Duardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Raulo in the 22nd minute of play forced Pincha FC's goalkeeper Fabio Duardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Freddy Sandaili recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Freddy Sandaili in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paolo Abeijon saved Club Atletico Huracan from getting behind. If Torgny Rolandsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute, Denis Bizen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabio Duardo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 33rd minute, Torgny Rolandsson made a precise shot to the right of Fabio Duardo. Pincha FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Anastasio Elija lost his temper 37 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pincha FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 36th minute. Penalty! The Pincha FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club Atletico Huracan were winning 0-4.

The wind increased when Augusto Atarratze made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Denis Bizen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fabio Duardo. Denis Bizen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Augusto Atarratze came free in the 61st minute and tried to tip the ball over Paolo Abeijon, but to the joy of Club Atletico Huracan's supporters the ball went over. Fabio Duardo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Torgny Rolandsson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 69 minute of play. Augusto Atarratze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paolo Abeijon having to interfere. Fabio Duardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Ove Kihlberg in the 84th minute of play. If Augusto Atarratze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Pincha FC's zone, Denis Bizen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Duardo came out of the goal and Denis Bizen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Pincha FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Club Atletico Huracan to win.
