Rafael Blanco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Patricio Gaizkine when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Sixto Criston might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anier Sanduru. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sixto Criston ran back to his position shaking his head. After 18 played minutes Otamendi AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Mark. In the 21st minute, Eugenio Euloxu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sixto Criston sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixto Criston in the 23rd minute of play forced TALLERES's goalkeeper Anier Sanduru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Otamendi AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Blanco came free, but Patricio Gaizkine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 28 minutes, Rodrigo Mark mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Otamendi AFC and the TALLERES players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 28 played minutes Otamendi AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Mark. 40 minutes into the match, Otamendi AFC's Sixto Criston sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anier Sanduru narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Otamendi AFC's Adolfo Matro got a free kick in the 45th minute.

Rafael Blanco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Patricio Gaizkine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Florentino Jatsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the match, TALLERES's goalkeeper Anier Sanduru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodrigo Mark. Jeronimo Tristan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Anier Sanduru made a huge save. Sixto Criston struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Anier Sanduru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Otamendi AFC. 70 minutes into the game, TALLERES's Rafael Blanco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Patricio Gaizkine made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Anier Sanduru was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Sixto Criston capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sixto Criston really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Jeronimo Tristan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Anier Sanduru made a huge save. Florentino Jatsu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Patricio Gaizkine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Blanco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The TALLERES fans cheered their team off the field, for while Otamendi AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
