Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Taraguy RC's Marco Munio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Bolívar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elpidio Ortzi to maneuver through the defense. Reynaldo Pinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Larra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Moises Larra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 21 minutes into the match, Bolívar's Jose Nardo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reynaldo Pinto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marco Munio during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marco Munio kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Larra in the 24th minute of play forced Taraguy RC's goalkeeper Reynaldo Pinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santos Abad kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After 30 played minutes Taraguy RC got a freekick which was hit by Santos Abad. Moises Larra struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Reynaldo Pinto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bolívar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Larra in the 33rd minute of play forced Taraguy RC's goalkeeper Reynaldo Pinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moises Larra had several of the Taraguy RC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 35 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Reynaldo Pinto as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 39th minute of the match, Jose Nardo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Reynaldo Pinto was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Taraguy RC's Danilo Arlo got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Taraguy RC's zone, Jose Nardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reynaldo Pinto came out of the goal and Jose Nardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Moises Larra to make the kick off. A collision led to Bolívar getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Victor Otoniel hit a great ball. Cesar Nevada in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Angelo Lertxun, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Taraguy RC's Santos Abad got a free kick in the 66th minute. Reynaldo Pinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Nardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reynaldo Pinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Larra in the 68th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Bolívar's Jose Nardo got a free kick in the 71st minute. If Jose Nardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moises Larra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victor Otoniel charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victor Otoniel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 79 played minutes Bolívar got a freekick which was hit by Victor Otoniel. Jose Nardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Pinto having to interfere. Jose Nardo scored 2-0 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reynaldo Pinto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 94th minute Marco Munio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Lertxun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Angelo Lertxun managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when Taraguy RC's Cesar Nevada fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Taraguy RC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bolívar.
