Alberto Nesto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Mundo having to interfere. The supporters of Lieutenant Dan F.C. booed when JMMC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guaberto Gartzen didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, JMMC's Herminio Mundo got control of the ball when Anastasio Maju tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind JMMC's goalkeeper Herminio Mundo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Genaro Garaona took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Herminio Mundo. JMMC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Anastasio Maju's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Herminio Mundo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Alberto Nesto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Herminio Mundo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, JMMC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Anastasio Maju fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Anastasio Maju had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guaberto Gartzen was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anastasio Maju in the 55th minute of play forced JMMC's goalkeeper Herminio Mundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in JMMC's zone, Anastasio Maju stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herminio Mundo came out of the goal and Anastasio Maju tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Nesto in the 60th minute of play forced JMMC's goalkeeper Herminio Mundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Anastasio Maju had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adrian Abreu charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adrian Abreu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 69 played minutes Lieutenant Dan F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Leon Urti. If Guaberto Gartzen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute, Alberto Nesto made a precise shot to the right of Herminio Mundo. JMMC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Guaberto Gartzen might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Celestino Lia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guaberto Gartzen ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Lieutenant Dan F.C. getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Leon Urti hit a great ball. In the 80th minute, Iker Salvator got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Alberto Nesto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Confesor during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 93 minutes into the match, JMMC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Nesto came free, but Herminio Mundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Jonas Eder notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of JMMC's Herminio Mundo. Herminio Mundo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Lieutenant Dan F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while JMMC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
