The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, RIVER PLATE's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Precioso came free, but Eloy Dalmu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute Pablo Romero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Lertxun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Manantiales booed when RIVER PLATE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestre Gergori didn't get a good kick on the ball. 78 minutes in the game, Daniel Precioso fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Eloy Dalmu having to interfere. Eloy Dalmu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Precioso, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. If Pablo Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manantiales's Camilo Lertxun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Merexildo in the 84th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, RIVER PLATE's Saul Merexildo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Camilo Lertxun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Daniel Precioso did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-1 to the left of a surprised Eloy Dalmu 95 minutes into the match. When the match was over Manantiales could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than RIVER PLATE throughout the match.
