Spectators: 7236 (Terracing: 5429, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Melquiades Prejun started the match with the kick off. Capayán's Melquiades Prejun got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Melquiades Prejun in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacinto Bide prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Melquiades Prejun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 16 minutes into the game, Melquiades Prejun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Jacinto Bide was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rodolfo Chaime hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Jacinto Bide stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Melquiades Prejun's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. After having played for 26 minutes, Nicanor Ler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Capayán's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicanor Ler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jacinto Bide came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Capayán's Jesus Salbatore. But to his dismay, Jesus Salbatore quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Capayán's zone, Ceferino Iturri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salvador Pabla came out of the goal and Ceferino Iturri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Melquiades Prejun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Albino Guilabertus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacinto Bide. Irazusta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Albino Guilabertus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4.

Capayán's Placido Belasko was substituted for Gogo Abalos. Daniel Hitzeder kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. The supporters of Capayán booed when Irazusta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Elivareo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the game, Federico Cordarrol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Capayán's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Irazusta the free kick. Federico Cordarrol hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. When Melquiades Prejun came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Capayán fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melquiades Prejun couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Irazusta getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Rodolfo Chaime hit a great ball. Jacinto Bide made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Melquiades Prejun sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Melquiades Prejun in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacinto Bide prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 89 minutes into the match, Melquiades Prejun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacinto Bide. Irazusta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Melquiades Prejun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Luciano Caetano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Bide having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Federico Cordarrol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Capayán fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Capayán played a much better game than Irazusta and deserved their victory. The Irazusta players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
