Jacobo Ursino might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fulgencio Pero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jacobo Ursino ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raimundo Matei during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 19 played minutes Peperina got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Matei. After a rather tough play, Candelaria AFC's Vicente Esdras got a free kick in the 21st minute. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Aureliano Rodriguez made the kick off in the second half. Fulgencio Pero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobo Ursino in the 55th minute of play. Candelaria AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aureliano Rodriguez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 62 minutes into the match, Peperina's goal looked a bit too open when Nereo Gabino came free, but Serafino Sanson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Candelaria AFC booed when Peperina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureliano Rodriguez didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Nereo Gabino came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Candelaria AFC fans jumped to their feet. The supporters of Peperina booed when Candelaria AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulgencio Pero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Serafino Sanson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Teodoro Eutor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Serafino Sanson made a huge save. Braulio Semeno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serafino Sanson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
