Watio FC's Adrian Berbiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Seber in the 21st minute of play. Gualterio Gumaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Adrian Berbiz made a huge save. A hard shot by Higinio Pirmin from long distance, 28 minutes into the match, got Adrian Berbiz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Adrian Berbiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Seber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gualterio Gumaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Berbiz having to interfere. Carlos Seber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Adrian Berbiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Seber to make the kick off. Adrian Berbiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Seber in the 53rd minute of the match. After having played for 54 minutes, Gualterio Gumaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tandil FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gualterio Gumaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Gualterio Gumaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the match, Watio FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gualterio Gumaro came free, but Adrian Berbiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Seber ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 96th minute Carlos Seber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Berbiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Tandil FC were the better team. Tandil FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
