But to his dismay, Vinicio Eguntsenti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in club atletico cibab's zone, Valentin Itzaina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Venancio Jakobe came out of the goal and Valentin Itzaina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes into the game, Valentin Itzaina cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Venancio Jakobe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 24th minute, Valentin Itzaina made a precise shot to the right of Venancio Jakobe. club atletico cibab's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Valentin Itzaina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 37 minutes of play, Macomitas FC's Valentin Itzaina made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Venancio Jakobe was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 41 minutes, Vinicio Eguntsenti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Macomitas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vinicio Eguntsenti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Valentin Itzaina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 47 minutes, Valentin Itzaina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Macomitas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valentin Itzaina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

Venancio Jakobe didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 51st minute, which inside left pole to 0-8. In the 55th minute, Vinicio Eguntsenti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
