In the 9th minute Ulises Tavio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinicio Oriche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute, Celestino Txordon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eusebio Txurio made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Benedicto Bermudo sent off a good shot on target. Ulises Tavio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinicio Oriche having to interfere. Eusebio Txurio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benedicto Bermudo in the 35th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Chipiscú's Guido Sal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eusebio Txurio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Doblas's Alfredo Pirro got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benedicto Bermudo got free with Eusebio Txurio in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 43 minutes into the match, Doblas's goal looked a bit too open when Guido Sal came free, but Eusebio Txurio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guido Sal made a kick off. Vinicio Oriche was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Alfredo Pirro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alfredo Pirro really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Eusebio Txurio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Sal, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Alfredo Pirro took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vinicio Oriche. Vinicio Oriche dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Alfredo Pirro might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vinicio Oriche. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredo Pirro ran back to his position shaking his head. Ulises Tavio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinicio Oriche having to interfere. Benedicto Bermudo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eusebio Txurio having to make a save. Benedicto Bermudo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Eusebio Txurio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
