The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rigoberto Gaspard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from German Celio in the 4th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Inocencio Millano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético Guisado's supporters rose to their feet, but Inocencio Millano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rigoberto Gaspard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. German Celio struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Rigoberto Gaspard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Guisado. After 8 played minutes Atlético Guisado got a freekick which was hit by Inocencio Millano. Rigoberto Gaspard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inocencio Millano, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. German Celio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Gaspard having to interfere. If German Celio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 33 minutes, German Celio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Guisado's supporters crossed their fingers, but German Celio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Damaso Odol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Enol having to interfere. Octavio Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Enol having to interfere. If German Celio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jáuregui's Rigoberto Gaspard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inocencio Millano in the 43rd minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Octavio Vidal made a kick off. German Celio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 52ndth minute, Rigoberto Gaspard skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Inocencio Millano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Gaspar Lekubegi took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Rigoberto Gaspard to make any attempt to save it. Jáuregui's Rigoberto Gaspard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inocencio Millano in the 69th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Inocencio Millano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rigoberto Gaspard. The goal made the score 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Jáuregui's zone, Inocencio Millano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rigoberto Gaspard came out of the goal and Inocencio Millano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gervasio Hermon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Fidel Enol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Basilio Soter during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Atlético Guisado's Basilio Soter got a free kick in the 92nd minute. It was beautiful to see Jáuregui's Gervasio Hermon in action when he in the 94th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! The Jáuregui fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Atlético Guisado were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
