Segundo Ortle made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Hernan Oalo sent off a good shot on target. Segundo Ortle stood somewhat misplaced when Americo Vistruario came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 11 minute. Lisandro Eliazar hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blas Leheren in the 23rd minute of play forced Gigante's goalkeeper Mauricio Gonza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Efrain Beltxe hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Hernan Oalo hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Pedregal's Segundo Ortle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Pedregal from getting a goal against them. In the 30th minute, Gigante's Efrain Beltxe ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Segundo Ortle. Segundo Ortle yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. When Americo Vistruario came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Gigante fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Americo Vistruario couldn't finish the play. In the 35th minute, Hernan Oalo made a precise shot to the right of Segundo Ortle. Pedregal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Segundo Ortle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Americo Vistruario, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Segundo Ortle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Americo Vistruario in the 47th minute of play.

The wind increased when Mariano Cucao made the kick off in the second half. Americo Vistruario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Segundo Ortle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hernan Oalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fidel Cristofor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Americo Vistruario in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Segundo Ortle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Gigante booed when Pedregal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Hori didn't get a good kick on the ball. Efrain Beltxe's late challenge caught a Pedregal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Efrain Beltxe helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th match minute, Gigante was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Beltxe to maneuver through the defense. When Hernan Oalo came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Gigante fans jumped to their feet. But to his dismay, Hernan Oalo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. In the 95th minute, Hernan Oalo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There was no doubt that Gigante were the better team. Gigante's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
