Spectators: 7129 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 145) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Desiderio Eguntsenti got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Gabirel in the 12th minute of play forced Fantasma de la B's goalkeeper Gavino Ferdinand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute, Edelmiro Iraunkor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anibal Timo's late challenge caught a Fantasma de la B's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anibal Timo helped the player get up and apologised. Edelmiro Iraunkor received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Rey came out and tried to block the shot, but Edelmiro Iraunkor slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 21st minute. Gavino Ferdinand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Gabirel in the 29th minute of the match. Federico Gabirel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gavino Ferdinand having to make a save. Niceto Ugutz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Rey having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Fantasma de la B's Niceto Ugutz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julio Rey. Julio Rey yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Fantasma de la B's zone, Federico Gabirel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gavino Ferdinand came out of the goal and Federico Gabirel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Federico Gabirel was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of J J Urquiza booed when Fantasma de la B was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Iraunkor didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Rosendo Beremundo in the 54th minute really tested Gavino Ferdinand's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Gavino Ferdinand made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Gaston Vitin sent off a good shot on target. If Federico Gabirel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. Niceto Ugutz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mateo Ruy hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute, Niceto Ugutz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julio Rey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosme Cordearo in the 77th minute of play. Gaston Vitin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Gavino Ferdinand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Federico Gabirel struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Gavino Ferdinand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for J J Urquiza. The crowd rose to their feet as Federico Gabirel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gavino Ferdinand. That made the score 2-2 in the 81 minute of play. Federico Gabirel succeeded in the game's 87th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-3. 94 minutes into the match, J J Urquiza's Federico Gabirel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gavino Ferdinand narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Niceto Ugutz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The J J Urquiza supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing J J Urquiza would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
