Spectators: 7217 (Terracing: 5414, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Benito Sanson kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd match minute, Bristol FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Dimas to maneuver through the defense. When Benito Sanson came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Bristol FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benito Sanson couldn't finish the play. 6 minutes into the match, Benito Sanson notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Independiente's Edgardo Guerrero. Edgardo Guerrero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Luis Mede had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 20 played minutes Bristol FC got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Xabier. A hard and well directed shot from Vladimiro Beila led 21 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Bristol FC's Laureano Bertol became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-1. Ciro Jerold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Bertol having to interfere. Luis Mede in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Laureano Bertol, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Luis Mede could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Laureano Bertol made a huge save. In the 36th minute, Arnaldo Bernat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Laureano Bertol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Jerold, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bristol FC's Laureano Bertol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Jerold in the 45th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ciro Jerold made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luis Mede in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laureano Bertol saved Bristol FC from getting behind. Emiliano Xabier hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Emiliano Xabier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgardo Guerrero having to interfere. If Bernardo Musko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bristol FC's Laureano Bertol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Mede in the 67th minute of play. After having played for 69 minutes, Arnaldo Bernat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bristol FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnaldo Bernat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 74 played minutes Benito Sanson rounded Independiente's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. Independiente's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Benito Sanson scored to the left of an out of position Edgardo Guerrero, making the score, 2-3. 88 minutes into the match, Bristol FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Jerold came free, but Laureano Bertol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vladimiro Beila kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The Bristol FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bristol FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
