In the 18th minute of the match Ramiro Bonadona sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomas Ceandro skillfully saved the ball. Juan Eguntsenti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luisito Henrico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Eguntsenti, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. A hard shot 27 in the game by Florentino Gaskon from a close distance when the talented Tomas Ceandro managed to make a qualified save. Magdalena FC's players were relieved. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Juan Eguntsenti put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Luisito Henrico. Tomas Ceandro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Abadie's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Inocencio Richie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luisito Henrico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inocencio Richie in the 40th minute of the match. After 42 played minutes Luján got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Bonadona. Luisito Henrico stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Inocencio Richie's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Severiano Ubendu during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan Eguntsenti in the 49th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luisito Henrico saved Luján from getting behind. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juan Eguntsenti to strike the kick off in the second half. Juan Eguntsenti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 55 minutes, Juan Eguntsenti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Magdalena FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Eguntsenti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The long shot by Mariano Pelayo in the 60th minute really tested Luisito Henrico's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Inocencio Richie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Luisito Henrico made a huge save. Tomas Ceandro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florentino Gaskon in the 66th minute of the match. After 68 minutes of play, Luján's Florentino Gaskon made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomas Ceandro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Juan Eguntsenti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juan Eguntsenti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Henrico having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Inocencio Richie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Inocencio Richie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
