After 6 played minutes Sorento got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Aguilera. Sorento's Hipolito Reyes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Sorento from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Los hijos de la Viuda's Albino Diagur got a free kick in the 11th minute. Guaberto Leobardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascual Llin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Sorento's Primitivo Aguilera got a free kick in the 16th minute. Albino Diagur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hipolito Reyes having to interfere. Guaberto Leobardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascual Llin in the 24th minute of play. Pascual Llin took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guaberto Leobardo. Guaberto Leobardo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpected shot in the 39th minute by Narciso Ledesma got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 46 minutes into the match, Sorento's goalkeeper Hipolito Reyes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Narciso Ledesma.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Albino Diagur to make the kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Pascual Llin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los hijos de la Viuda's Guaberto Leobardo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 58 minutes, Jairo Munio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los hijos de la Viuda and the Sorento players grew even worse after the yellow card. Guaberto Leobardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ildefonso Kiliz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sorento's Hipolito Reyes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Ledesma in the 67th minute of play. When Enzo Galo fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sorento's protests and gave Enzo Galo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Sorento getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Enzo Galo hit a great ball. Eloy Olo charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eloy Olo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 75 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Los hijos de la Viuda! Los hijos de la Viuda:s Guaberto Leobardo showed great skill when he stopped Marcial Lucado:s penalty. Pascual Llin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Leobardo having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Los hijos de la Viuda's goal looked a bit too open when Pascual Llin came free, but Guaberto Leobardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sorento's Hipolito Reyes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Ledesma in the 85th minute of play. Sorento's Celedonio Abella shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 90th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Guaberto Leobardo but with some difficulty. The crowd rose to their feet as Sorento's Pascual Llin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Guaberto Leobardo. That made the score 0-3 after 97 minutes of play.
