Eliseo Pereyra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Andres Domeka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Crespo AFC booed when Cholila FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elvio Bemabe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Crespo AFC's Jairo Jaen got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Crespo AFC's Jairo Jaen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anastasio Savion narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Alfredo Tauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

If Jairo Jaen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Hanni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anastasio Savion read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Alfredo Tauro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute of the match Claudio Rosario sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andres Domeka skillfully saved the ball. Andres Domeka made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Eliseo Pereyra sent off a good shot on target. Alfredo Tauro might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andres Domeka. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredo Tauro ran back to his position shaking his head. Eliseo Pereyra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute.
