To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luisito Mederi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Hegoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Alvaro Donio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alvaro Donio got free with Luisito Mederi in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leonel Oxarra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicasio Oroitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute Nicasio Oroitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Oxarra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicasio Oroitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th match minute, Centeno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Socorro to maneuver through the defense. Luisito Mederi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Hegoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Leonel Oxarra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalmacio Obeko in the 41st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicasio Oroitz in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonel Oxarra saved Bordeu from getting behind. After some careless play in the Bordeu defense, Dalmacio Obeko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonel Oxarra. The Bordeu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonel Oxarra should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jairo Hegoi made a kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dalmacio Obeko couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Centeno's Rodrigo Poz got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After 63 played minutes, Bordeu's Jimeno Lidon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luisito Mederi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bordeu reached it. If Nicasio Oroitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dalmacio Obeko in the 72nd minute of play forced Bordeu's goalkeeper Leonel Oxarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute Dalmacio Obeko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Oxarra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denis Bernaldo kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Leonel Oxarra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmacio Obeko in the 86th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Centeno walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
