In the 29th minute, Osvaldo Pabla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Cafferata FC's Fidel Arixo got control of the ball when Fernando Constancio tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Humberto Rivero fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Red Machine FC's protests and gave Humberto Rivero a yellow card for diving instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jeremias Pinto made a kick off. In the 56th minute, Fernando Constancio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fidel Arixo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 60 minutes into the match, Cafferata FC's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Rivero came free, but Fidel Arixo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeremias Pinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gregorio Inocente kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. The supporters of Red Machine FC booed when Cafferata FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Pabla didn't get a good kick on the ball. But to his dismay, Fernando Constancio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Alfonso Eutropio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Luciano Vito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
