Spectators: 7130 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) PAN Y COCA's Astor Guib started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Gualterio Gorbea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Newells FC's Gaudencio Romildo got a free kick in the 5th minute. Ciriaco Qwinton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 10th minute Astor Guib shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabricio Txordon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th match minute, Newells FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaudencio Romildo to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isidoro Ioritz during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th minute, Isidoro Ioritz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gualterio Gorbea kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. PAN Y COCA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Astor Guib was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Astor Guib managed to get in a good position for a shot. PAN Y COCA's supporters rose to their feet, but Astor Guib was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabricio Txordon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gualterio Gorbea kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Baldomero Otoniel kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Newells FC's Conrado Enekoitz got a free kick in the 36th minute. Fabricio Txordon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Astor Guib in the 39th minute of the match. The supporters of PAN Y COCA booed when Newells FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomero Otoniel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Astor Guib in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabricio Txordon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by Newells FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ciriaco Qwinton was slow to take the kick. During this time PAN Y COCA's players had a chance to rest. Fabricio Txordon came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by PAN Y COCA's Astor Guib. But to his dismay, Astor Guib quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Placido Iturri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. PAN Y COCA's Baldomero Paskal got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Astor Guib in the 57th minute of play forced Newells FC's goalkeeper Fabricio Txordon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidoro Ioritz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Fabricio Txordon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gualterio Gorbea fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Newells FC's protests and gave Gualterio Gorbea a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Newells FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Gualterio Gorbea hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Newells FC's zone, Angel Librado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabricio Txordon came out of the goal and Angel Librado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Newells FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Astor Guib 70 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Astor Guib took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Fabricio Txordon to make any attempt to save it. Astor Guib struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Fabricio Txordon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PAN Y COCA. In the 82nd minute, PAN Y COCA's Astor Guib ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fabricio Txordon. Fabricio Txordon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Isidoro Ioritz took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabricio Txordon. Fabricio Txordon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. 89 minutes into the match, Newells FC's goal looked a bit too open when Astor Guib came free, but Fabricio Txordon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute, Astor Guib made a precise shot to the right of Fabricio Txordon. Newells FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Fabricio Txordon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomero Paskal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over PAN Y COCA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Newells FC throughout the match.
