Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Anastasio Umbruso got the match started through his kick off. Vicente Oidor was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 6 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 6th minute of the game. One of Rivadavia:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Echagüe:s goal. 12 minutes into the match, Echagüe's Anacleto Abaunza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonel Remigio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edgard Laurendi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anier Nuno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Remigio having to interfere. The supporters of Echagüe booed when Rivadavia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godfredo Resto didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Anier Nuno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rivadavia's Leonel Remigio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anier Nuno in the 23rd minute of play. Anier Nuno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Leonel Remigio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anier Nuno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anacleto Abaunza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonel Remigio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anier Nuno, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 34 minutes, Godfredo Resto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rivadavia and the Echagüe players grew even worse after the yellow card. Godfredo Resto kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Anacleto Abaunza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Remigio having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Rivadavia's goal looked a bit too open when Anier Nuno came free, but Leonel Remigio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gregorio Meder kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. When Delmiro Clemencin fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rivadavia's protests and gave Delmiro Clemencin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th minute, one of Rivadavia:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rivadavia. After 44 played minutes Echagüe got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Jordy.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anier Nuno to make the kick off. If Anacleto Abaunza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Anier Nuno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonel Remigio was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Anier Nuno capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Anier Nuno really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anier Nuno in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonel Remigio saved Rivadavia from getting behind. Leonel Remigio made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Anacleto Abaunza sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, Echagüe's Leonel Remigio threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marcelo Inocente, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 75 minutes into the match, Anacleto Abaunza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonel Remigio. Rivadavia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anacleto Abaunza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Leonel Remigio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anier Nuno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rivadavia's goalkeeper Leonel Remigio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leonel Remigio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anacleto Abaunza in the 87th minute of play. Anier Nuno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anacleto Abaunza's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Leonel Remigio firmly grabbed it by the left post. Anier Nuno might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonel Remigio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anier Nuno ran back to his position shaking his head. Anier Nuno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Leonel Remigio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anacleto Abaunza succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 95th playminute. When the final whistle sounded Echagüe left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rivadavia.
