Isaias Bixintxo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julio Medero to strike the kick off in the second half. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Honorio Turi couldn't finish the play. Freyre FC's Isaias Bixintxo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Urdin in the 78th minute of play. Isaias Bixintxo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorio Turi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isaias Bixintxo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Enekoitz in the 81st minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Freyre FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Urdin came free, but Isaias Bixintxo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
