Canning's Julian Erauso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Canning from getting a goal against them. Ildefonso Sugar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Ildefonso Sugar took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Julian Erauso to make any attempt to save it. After 35 minutes, Lázaro Elodio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venancio FC and the Canning players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th match minute, Venancio FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lázaro Elodio to maneuver through the defense. When Justino Tabby came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Canning fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Justino Tabby couldn't finish the play. Ruperto Deunoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernan Mincho in the 40th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Venancio FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernan Mincho came free, but Ruperto Deunoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute Ildefonso Sugar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Erauso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Justino Tabby might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ruperto Deunoro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Justino Tabby ran back to his position shaking his head. Fernan Mincho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Ruperto Deunoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Orlando Stanislao during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 85 played minutes Venancio FC got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Stanislao. When Canning's Fernan Mincho in 87 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Ruperto Deunoro guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Ildefonso Sugar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Canning's Justino Tabby got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 95 minutes, Ildefonso Sugar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venancio FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ildefonso Sugar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Venancio FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
