Israel Fernendo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Berriotxoa in the 3rd minute of the match. Curupaity FC's Israel Fernendo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inocencio Abella in the 11th minute of play. If Lorenzo Ordono had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Penca's Inocencio Abella got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th minute Eugenio Berriotxoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Israel Fernendo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, German Llorienzo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Curupaity FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Penca the free kick. A collision led to Curupaity FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. German Llorienzo hit a great ball. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Curupaity FC's goalkeeper Israel Fernendo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Penca's zone, Lorenzo Ordono stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fausto Bonadona came out of the goal and Lorenzo Ordono tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eugenio Berriotxoa to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Penca's Eugenio Berriotxoa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Israel Fernendo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lorenzo Ordono fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Bonadona having to interfere. The supporters of Curupaity FC booed when Penca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sixto Calisto didn't get a good kick on the ball.
