An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelino Esiquio in the 16th minute of play forced Picaflor's goalkeeper Alfonso Hori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the game, Perugorría AFC's Roberto Beila nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
