Spectators: 6861 (Terracing: 5411, Seating: 1400, VIP seats: 50) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rigoberto Cebo got the match started through his kick off. Jairo Marino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natalio Noe having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Irala's Mauro Chabier got a free kick in the 4th minute. Natalio Noe made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Narciso Rodas sent off a good shot on target. In the 11th minute Maximiliano Tajo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natalio Noe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Narciso Rodas came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Atiles FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Narciso Rodas couldn't finish the play. After 16 played minutes Maximiliano Tajo rounded Irala's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Narciso Rodas in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Natalio Noe, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 32nd minute there was a penalty for Irala. Aldo Gaufred stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Robustiano Lauro. 1-1. After a rather tough play, Atiles FC's Jairo Marino got a free kick in the 37th minute. Aldo Gaufred was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 38th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maximiliano Tajo was the one to do the kick off. Irala's Natalio Noe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Tajo in the 53rd minute of play. Natalio Noe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Tajo in the 54th minute of play. If Rigoberto Cebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Irala's Nicanor Soter got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Atiles FC booed when Irala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Cordara didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Irala getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Celedonio Bartoli hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Narciso Rodas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atiles FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Narciso Rodas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Natalio Noe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maximiliano Tajo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rigoberto Cebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robustiano Lauro having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Atiles FC's zone, Rigoberto Cebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robustiano Lauro came out of the goal and Rigoberto Cebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rigoberto Cebo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 93 minutes, Celedonio Bartoli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Irala's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celedonio Bartoli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Robustiano Lauro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Cebo in the 96th minute of the match.
