In the 25th minute, Gonzalo Frutos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filomeno Mitxaut was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. A throw-in in the 31st minute of the game was made by Alfredo Beliran with Domingo Lorencio as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Chus in the 34th minute of play forced La Tierra y las Hormigas's goalkeeper Fernando Ariando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Gonzalo Frutos notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Azopardo's Filomeno Mitxaut. The Azopardo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filomeno Mitxaut should have stopped the shot. Filomeno Mitxaut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonzalo Frutos in the 60th minute of the match. Alfredo Beliran made in the 63rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Atilano Eneto immediately put the ball in play. La Tierra y las Hormigas's Fernando Ariando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilano Eneto in the 65th minute of play. Gonzalo Frutos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Maximiliano Quintana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Quentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
