The supporters of Fiorito booed when Branca Unico FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iker Lain didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28thth minute of the game Cristo Florinio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Branca Unico FC's Romulo Ado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Romulo Ado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristo Florinio's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Faustino Venceslas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romulo Ado having to interfere. Romulo Ado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristo Florinio in the 37th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Faustino Venceslas in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romulo Ado saved Branca Unico FC from getting behind. If Faustino Venceslas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st match minute, Branca Unico FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidio Eguntsenti to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eulalio Bernabel was the one to do the kick off. Zeledon Rocendo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Ovidio Eguntsenti's late challenge caught a Fiorito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ovidio Eguntsenti helped the player get up and apologised.
