After a rather tough play, La Real Cantera's Sebastian Barros got a free kick in the 30th minute. If Eustaquio Gorbea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celedonio Artizar to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in La Real Cantera's zone, Eustaquio Gorbea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Palos came out of the goal and Eustaquio Gorbea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Celedonio Artizar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Felix Palos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celedonio Artizar in the 71st minute of play forced La Real Cantera's goalkeeper Felix Palos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. La Real Cantera's Jorge Nesto got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Hermengildo Satordi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eustaquio Gorbea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felix Palos having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Celedonio Artizar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Covunco's supporters rose to their feet, but Celedonio Artizar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felix Palos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 81 minutes, Ricardo Txerran mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Covunco and the La Real Cantera players grew even worse after the yellow card. Covunco were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing La Real Cantera to leave the ground with a draw.
