Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Anselmo Nesor made the kick off which started today's match. Anselmo Nesor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Sasoin having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Anselmo Nesor notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Mischango AFC's Marco Sasoin. Marco Sasoin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gervasio Estebano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Jairo Admon made a huge save. In the 28th minute, Victoriano Gorri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Gervasio Estebano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mischango AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gervasio Estebano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jairo Admon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mischango AFC's Danilo Martino got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The supporters of Mischango AFC booed when Newell´s Old Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Salvadore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anselmo Nesor was extremely unlucky when he, in the 55th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Anselmo Nesor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Marco Sasoin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Godfredo Bernebe scored 2-2 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marco Sasoin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Godfredo Bernebe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 67 minutes, Anselmo Nesor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Newell´s Old Boys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anselmo Nesor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th minute, Anselmo Nesor fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 73rd minute, Mischango AFC's Donato Pirro seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Donato Pirro the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Mischango AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Donato Pirro had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Mischango AFC booed when Newell´s Old Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Dodorol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Melquiades Maldonado's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Jairo Admon - 3-2 was put on the score board in the 81st minute. Jimeno Hurko hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. If Anselmo Nesor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Newell´s Old Boys players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mischango AFC.
