Basilio Rios was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alfonso Marquez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Angel Tonete in the 31st minute. Anier Arotza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ambrosio Henrico in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfonso Marquez saved Los Hornos FC from getting behind. 43 minutes into the game, Armando Amor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zonca F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Hornos FC the free kick. Anier Arotza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basilio Rios having to interfere. After 45 minutes, Paolo Jayvier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zonca F.C. and the Los Hornos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th minute, Paolo Jayvier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 49th minute by Ambrosio Henrico got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ambrosio Henrico made a kick off. Dionisio Peyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basilio Rios having to interfere. Paolo Jayvier hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Basilio Rios made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dionisio Peyo in the 63rd minute. Alfonso Marquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Tonete in the 66th minute of the match. After having played for 67 minutes, Angel Tonete managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zonca F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Angel Tonete was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd match minute, Zonca F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Amor to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute, Ambrosio Henrico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Los Hornos FC's Alfonso Marquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angel Tonete in the 81st minute of play. A collision led to Los Hornos FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Silvio Teyo hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Zonca F.C.'s Ubaldo Gonsalvo got a free kick in the 91st minute. Zonca F.C.'s Basilio Rios proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Zonca F.C. from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Zonca F.C. getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Cesar Herrera hit a great ball. In the 96th minute of the match Ernesto Gabino shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Basilio Rios showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dionisio Peyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basilio Rios having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
