In the 20th match minute, SAN MARTIN AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvestre Erramu to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, SAN MARTIN AFC's Agustin Rios got a free kick in the 65th minute. Cecilio Abalos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Ondino having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benito Naike in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Virgilio Ondino saved SAN MARTIN AFC from getting behind. If Benito Naike had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the SAN MARTIN AFC defense, Benito Naike kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Virgilio Ondino. The SAN MARTIN AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Virgilio Ondino should have stopped the shot. Ambrosio Gonsalve fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Guib having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, SAN MARTIN AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Benito Naike came free, but Virgilio Ondino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laguneros FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
