Tumba Rancho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fausto Ilazki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 15th minute, Tumba Rancho's Erasmo Gaur dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. When %teams%'s Erasmo Gaur was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 2-0 just inside the left pole, 20 minutes into the game. Alejandro Dolfo was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Alejandro Dolfo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Gaur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Everardo Gipuzkoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erasmo Gaur to make the kick off. Benito Sotero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alvaro Lixandro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Tumba Rancho booed when Cefalier F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimeno Isidor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Salvador Firmin hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Cefalier F.C.'s Everardo Gipuzkoa threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Froilan Pacorro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Cefalier F.C.'s Benito Sotero got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Cefalier F.C. defense, Fausto Ilazki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alejandro Dolfo. The Cefalier F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alejandro Dolfo should have stopped the shot. Fausto Ilazki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Alejandro Dolfo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Tumba Rancho getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Anastasio Estebe hit a great ball. In the 89th minute Erasmo Gaur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejandro Dolfo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erasmo Gaur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejandro Dolfo having to interfere. Cefalier F.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
