Gonzalo Ospin was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 21st minute Tiburcio Lalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justo Eleazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Sportivo Chilim Balam's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Chago came free, but Gonzalo Ospin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiburcio Lalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Justo Eleazar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pipinas AFC's Justo Eleazar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiburcio Lalla in the 29th minute of play. After 30 played minutes Pipinas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Albino Lapurdi. 33 minutes into the match, Sportivo Chilim Balam's goalkeeper Gonzalo Ospin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaston Ledesma. 40 minutes into the match, Pipinas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicanor Jaunti came free, but Justo Eleazar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiburcio Lalla struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Justo Eleazar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sportivo Chilim Balam. Gaston Ledesma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The wind increased when Nicanor Jaunti made the kick off in the second half. The tension between the Sportivo Chilim Balam and the Pipinas AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Chilim Balam's Isaias Lamberto got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Mario Chago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute.
