After a rather tough play, Tócota's German Santikurtz got a free kick in the 26th minute. Braulio Maiorga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Jonathan Cristofol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Tócota's zone, Adrian Tello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Cristofol came out of the goal and Adrian Tello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. German Santikurtz's late challenge caught a Barcala FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. German Santikurtz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd match minute, Tócota was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by German Santikurtz to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Barcala FC's Jaime Froylan got a free kick in the 34th minute. Tadeo Salvino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Abaunza having to interfere. After having played for 43 minutes, Braulio Maiorga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barcala FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Braulio Maiorga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Freddy Abaunza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeo Salvino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barcala FC's Adrian Tello got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Braulio Maiorga to strike the kick off in the second half. Fernando Lehoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 54 minutes into the match, Tócota's Tadeo Salvino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Freddy Abaunza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Tadeo Salvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Freddy Abaunza didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 63rd minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. In the 70th minute, one of Barcala FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Barcala FC. Jaime Froylan hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tadeo Salvino in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Freddy Abaunza saved Barcala FC from getting behind. Tadeo Salvino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Abaunza having to interfere. Barcala FC's Freddy Abaunza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Barcala FC from getting a goal against them. Tadeo Salvino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Freddy Abaunza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Tócota booed when Barcala FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Modesto Nisio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When German Santikurtz came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Tócota fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that German Santikurtz couldn't finish the play.
