Spectators: 6000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nicanor Sauveur kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Siro Liberto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Giovanni F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Siro Liberto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicanor Abad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nicanor Sauveur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Eneas having to interfere. Humberto Napier scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcelino Eneas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Humberto Napier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nicanor Sauveur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Marcelino Eneas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guaberto Peter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Nicanor Abad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Napier in the 24th minute of play forced Giovanni F.C's goalkeeper Marcelino Eneas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelino Eneas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Siro Liberto was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Norberto Quentin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caseros F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Norberto Quentin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. David Cordeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Marcelino Eneas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximo Abarca hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Humberto Napier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st minute, Humberto Napier fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Marcelino Eneas, passed just outside the right post. David Cordeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Eneas having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Giovanni F.C's goal looked a bit too open when David Cordeiro came free, but Marcelino Eneas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelino Eneas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicanor Sauveur in the 67th minute of play. 0-3 became the score in the 69th minute when Nicanor Sauveur elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The supporters of Caseros F.C. booed when Giovanni F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siro Liberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 73 played minutes Giovanni F.C got a freekick which was hit by Siro Liberto. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Giovanni F.C's goalkeeper Marcelino Eneas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Damaso Ireno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Humberto Napier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Nicanor Sauveur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
