If Lee Létourneau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barrio 33's Daniel Hernando proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Barrio 33 from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Cristofol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lee Létourneau's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. A collision led to Barrio 33 getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Carolo Rameriz hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 46th minute by Fernando Lehoi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After the first half Barrio 33 were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tadeo Salvino was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Barrio 33 booed when Tócota was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Vargas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Cristofol made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Lee Létourneau sent off a good shot on target. If Tadeo Salvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 75 minutes, Samuel Erruki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barrio 33 and the Tócota players grew even worse after the yellow card.
