The referee ignored Colipilli FC's protests and gave Mariano Logares a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th minute, Mariano Logares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the match, Funky Monks FC's Gaspar Valerio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jimeno Jon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Funky Monks FC's zone, Amancio Jakes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paolo Gaspard came out of the goal and Amancio Jakes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 21st minute, Paata Grande got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Colipilli FC's attentive Amancio Jakes managed to snatch the ball when Gaspar Vito made a throw-in in the 26th minute of the game. Paolo Gaspard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amancio Jakes in the 27th minute of play. Paata Grande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paolo Gaspard having to interfere. If Paata Grande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The audience was convinced that Filomeno Su's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jimeno Jon was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Paolo Gaspard came out of the goal and Elano Alvarenga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luis Dacio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Jimeno Jon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Dacio in the 61st minute of play forced Colipilli FC's goalkeeper Jimeno Jon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Funky Monks FC's Filomeno Su nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jimeno Jon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 69 minutes into the match, Colipilli FC's goal looked a bit too open when Filomeno Su came free, but Jimeno Jon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Colipilli FC's Elano Alvarenga got a free kick in the 70th minute. Paolo Gaspard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benicio Sabin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paolo Gaspard was a little too slow when Benicio Sabin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 1-1. Jimeno Jon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno Su in the 77th minute of the match. Jimeno Jon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Dacio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filomeno Su in the 80th minute of play forced Colipilli FC's goalkeeper Jimeno Jon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elano Alvarenga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Elano Alvarenga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colipilli FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elano Alvarenga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paolo Gaspard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elano Alvarenga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 87 minutes in the game Gaspar Vito did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Marcial Senon. Benicio Sabin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paolo Gaspard having to interfere. After having played for 96 minutes, Filomeno Su managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Funky Monks FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filomeno Su was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
