After a defensive mix-up in Arocena's zone, Luis Dacio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jesus Balasi came out of the goal and Luis Dacio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Saturnino Fero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Arocena booed when Funky Monks FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcial Senon didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Funky Monks FC fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Funky Monks FC's Filomeno Su looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 18 played minutes Funky Monks FC got a freekick which was hit by Benedicto Virila. After a defensive mix-up in Arocena's zone, Benedicto Virila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jesus Balasi came out of the goal and Benedicto Virila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 22nd minute, Filomeno Su got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luis Dacio got free with Jesus Balasi in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jesus Balasi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filomeno Su in the 27th minute of play. Luis Dacio struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Jesus Balasi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Funky Monks FC. Paolo Gaspard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaudencio Berriotxoa in the 33rd minute of play. Gaudencio Berriotxoa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paolo Gaspard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saturnino Fero, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Teodosio Ordono fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paolo Gaspard having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Filomeno Su stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jesus Balasi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filomeno Su in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th match minute, Arocena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodosio Ordono to maneuver through the defense. Paolo Gaspard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaudencio Berriotxoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Marcial Senon kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Funky Monks FC's Paolo Gaspard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaudencio Berriotxoa in the 66th minute of play. If Benedicto Virila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paolo Gaspard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaudencio Berriotxoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 76th minute, one of Arocena:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Arocena. In the 78th minute there was a penalty for Funky Monks FC. Gaspar Valerio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jesus Balasi. 2-0. In the 85th match minute, Arocena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nereo Aurre to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 92 minutes, Gaudencio Berriotxoa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arocena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaudencio Berriotxoa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Funky Monks FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Arocena for a fine match.
