Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Deportivo Saca Chispas's Antonio Sazon in the 25th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Hernan Arano was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Croacia Fc through an amazing save. 31 minutes into the match, Deportivo Saca Chispas's Gustavo Omero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hernan Arano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Deportivo Saca Chispas booed when Croacia Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cirilo Johans didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hernan Arano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Sazon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antonio Sazon's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Hernan Arano skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 42 played minutes Deportivo Saca Chispas got a freekick which was hit by Iker Costas.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antonio Sazon to strike the kick off in the second half. When Antonio Sazon came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Deportivo Saca Chispas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonio Sazon couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antonio Sazon in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hernan Arano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eustaquio Serapio hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Croacia Fc's Humberto Beila tried to score from far away in the 65th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 72 minutes into the match, Gustavo Omero notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Croacia Fc's Hernan Arano. Hernan Arano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antonio Sazon in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hernan Arano saved Croacia Fc from getting behind. Nicasio Fresco hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Hernan Arano came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Saca Chispas's Iker Costas. But to his dismay, Iker Costas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. After a defensive mix-up in Croacia Fc's zone, Gustavo Omero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hernan Arano came out of the goal and Gustavo Omero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gustavo Omero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Deportivo Saca Chispas's Antonio Sazon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hernan Arano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Croacia Fc's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
